Acceptable Use Policy

Scrapevia is meant for legitimate business research and list cleaning. These rules explain what is and is not allowed. They are part of our Terms of Service.

You may

• research possible business contacts from public accounts and public posts;
• contact people who published a business email in order to be contacted, in line with the laws that apply;
• check your own lists to remove addresses that do not work.

You may not

• Send spam. Do not use the results to send unsolicited bulk email or messages, or to send anything misleading, fraudulent or deceptive, including phishing, scams and fake offers.
• Harass or harm people. Do not use the service to stalk, threaten, bully, expose or target any person, or to find or publish someone's private details.
• Target children. Do not use the service to collect information about, or contact, people under 18.
• Seek private information. Do not try to obtain private, hidden or non-public data, or to get around privacy settings.
• Break the law. Do not use the service for anything illegal, including breaking anti-spam, privacy or data protection laws that apply to you or to your recipients.
• Attack or overload the service. Do not test for weaknesses without our written permission, try to bypass credits, limits or login, send automated floods of requests, or interfere with other customers.
• Abuse free credits. Do not create several accounts to collect free credits or share one account between unrelated businesses.
• Resell the service. Do not sell or give access to your account, or offer the service itself as your own, without our written permission.
• Misrepresent yourself. Do not pretend to be another person or company, or imply that we or Instagram endorse you.

Sensitive use

Do not use results to make decisions about someone's credit, employment, housing, health, insurance or legal rights.

If you break these rules

We may warn you, limit your use, suspend or close your account, remove credits that were obtained by abuse, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Used credits are not refunded in these cases (see the Refund and Cancellation Policy).

Reporting a problem

If you receive unwanted messages that you think came from someone using Scrapevia, or you see misuse, email support@scrapevia.com with details and we will look into it.
