Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Scrapevia ("we", "us") for using Scrapevia at https://scrapevia.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What the service does
Scrapevia has two tools that use credits:
- Lead finder: collects Instagram accounts from the following list of a public account or from the comments on a public post, and retrieves the details those accounts show publicly, such as follower count, account type, category and a public contact email or phone number.
- Email checker: tests email addresses and returns a result of Passed, Failed or Unknown, with a reason.
Lists you collect are saved in your account under "My lists" so you can view and download them again. Saved lists are deleted automatically 30 days after they were collected, so download what you need before then. You can also delete a list yourself at any time.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use the service for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that company.
3. Your account
- Give a real email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- One person or business should use one account. Creating several accounts to collect free credits again is not allowed.
- Tell us straight away at support@scrapevia.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
4. Credits and payment
- You buy credits in advance. One balance is used by both tools. The price of each pack is shown on the Buy credits page, in US dollars.
- The lead finder uses 1 credit for each page of about 190 accounts collected and 1 credit for each lead whose details you retrieve. The email checker uses 1 credit for each Passed or Failed result. Unknown results are not charged.
- Credits do not expire while your account is active. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are not a bank balance.
- Payments are taken by our payment providers (Razorpay for cards, Heleket for crypto). We do not see or store your full card details.
- Refunds and cancellations are covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- We may change prices and credit costs for future purchases. Credits you have already bought keep their value.
5. Free credits
New accounts get free credits to try the service. Free credits are not refundable and have no cash value. We may change or stop the free offer at any time and may remove free credits from accounts that abuse it.
6. Rules for using the service
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: use the service lawfully, do not send spam, do not harass or stalk anyone, and do not try to break or overload the service.
7. You are responsible for how you use the results
The lead finder shows information that people have chosen to make public. That does not mean they agreed to receive your messages. Before you contact anyone you must follow the laws that apply to you and to them, such as anti-spam and data protection laws (for example CAN-SPAM, GDPR, PECR, CASL and India's IT and data protection rules). You are responsible for having a lawful basis, for honouring opt-out and removal requests, and for including the information those laws require. We do not provide legal advice. How the information is collected, and the risks, are explained in our Data Collection and Scraping Disclosure, which is part of these terms.
8. Third-party services and availability
The service depends on other companies, including an Instagram data provider, an email verification provider, payment providers and our hosting company. Instagram is not connected to us and does not endorse the service. Those providers may change, limit or stop their services, or Instagram may change how its data is available. As a result the service, or parts of it, may be slow, incomplete or unavailable at times. We try to keep it running but do not promise uninterrupted service.
9. Results are not guaranteed
- Instagram data can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Many accounts show no email at all.
- No email verification is 100% accurate. Some mail servers hide whether a mailbox exists, and these come back as Unknown. A Passed result means the mailbox appeared to exist when we checked, not that the person will read or want your email.
- Saved results may be reused for a limited time, so very recent changes may not appear.
10. Our rights in the service
We own the Scrapevia website, software, design and branding. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while you follow these terms. You may not copy it, resell access to it, or try to extract its code. You keep ownership of the lists and files you bring to the service. The public information we retrieve belongs to the people it describes.
11. Suspension and ending your account
We may suspend or close an account, without refund of used credits, if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if we must do so by law, or if your use puts the service or others at risk. You can close your account at any time by emailing support@scrapevia.com; see the Refund and Cancellation Policy for what happens to unused credits.
12. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties about accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or results, whether stated or implied.
13. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, lost business, damage to reputation, or any loss caused by emails you send, blocked sender accounts, or complaints made against you. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. If a claim is made because of you
You agree to cover the costs, damages and legal fees we suffer if a third party makes a claim against us because you broke these terms, broke the law, or misused the information you obtained through the service.
15. Changes to the service and these terms
We may update these terms. When we make an important change we will post the new date at the top of this page and, where we can, tell you by email or on the site. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept it.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of the service is registered. Please contact us first at support@scrapevia.com so we can try to solve the problem. If we cannot, the courts of that place can decide it, unless the law of your country gives you the right to use your local courts.
