Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

This page explains what information Scrapevia collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It covers two groups of people: the customers who have an account, and the people whose public Instagram information appears in the lead finder.

1. Customers: what we collect

InformationWhy we need it
Email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your passwordTo create your account and let you log in. We never store your password in readable form.
Your credit balance and a record of what you used and boughtTo charge credits correctly, answer billing questions and prevent abuse.
Payment records: pack, amount, date, status and the payment IDTo confirm payments, add credits and handle refunds. Card details go straight to Razorpay and are not stored by us.
The searches and email lists you submit, and the lists of results you collectTo produce your results and to let you see and download them again under "My lists". Saved lists are deleted automatically after 30 days (see section 4).
Technical data such as IP address, browser and request logsTo keep the service secure, stop abuse and fix errors.
Your messages to supportTo reply to you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show advertising.

2. People whose public information appears in the lead finder

The lead finder retrieves information that Instagram accounts have made public, such as username, name, profile picture, follower count, account type, category, and any public contact email or phone number. We do not access private accounts, private messages or hidden information, and we do not look for emails that an account has not shown. Our customers choose which accounts to search. For a full explanation of how the data is collected, what is saved and the risks, see our Data Collection and Scraping Disclosure. If you appear in the results and want your information removed from our saved copies, see Data Removal Requests.

3. How we use information

4. How long we keep it

5. Who we share it with

We use trusted companies to run the service. They receive only what they need:

These companies have their own privacy policies. Some of them are based in other countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live.

6. Security

The site uses HTTPS. Passwords are stored only in hashed form. Access to the server is limited by keys, and payment confirmations from our providers are checked with a signature before credits are added. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or limit how we use it, and receive a copy. To use any of these rights, email support@scrapevia.com from the address on your account (customers) or follow Data Removal Requests (people who appear in results). We will reply within 30 days. Deleting an account removes your login and profile; we may keep payment and usage records that we are required to keep.

8. Cookies and similar storage

See our Cookie Policy. We use a login cookie and a small setting that remembers your chosen theme. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

The service is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, email support@scrapevia.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. For important changes we will tell you on the site or by email.

11. Contact

Email support@scrapevia.com for any privacy question or request.
