Data Removal Requests

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Scrapevia's lead finder shows information that Instagram accounts have made public. If your information appears in saved results and you want it removed, you can ask us to delete it. This is free.

Who can ask

Anyone whose public Instagram information, such as a username, name, follower count or public contact email, was retrieved by our service.

How to ask

  1. Email support@scrapevia.com with the subject "Data removal request".
  2. Give the Instagram username (or usernames) and, if the request is about an email address, that email address.
  3. We may ask you to prove the account is yours, for example by confirming from the email listed on the profile, to protect you from someone else making a false request.

What we do

Saved lists belonging to customers

Customers can keep lists in their own accounts for up to 30 days, after which they are deleted automatically. A removal request covers our shared saved copies; copies inside a customer's own saved list are removed automatically at the end of that period, and customers must also honour removal requests under our Terms.

What we cannot do

We cannot change what is shown on Instagram. To change or hide your contact details at the source, edit your profile settings on Instagram (for example make the account private or remove the public contact option). We also cannot delete copies that our customers already downloaded to their own files. Our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy require customers to respect removal requests and to follow the laws that apply to them.

Unwanted messages

If you received an unwanted message and think it came from someone using Scrapevia, email support@scrapevia.com and tell us what you received. We will investigate, and we can close the account of anyone who breaks our rules. You can also ask the sender to stop contacting you, and report them to the platform or your local authority.

More about how we treat personal information is in our Privacy Policy, and about how the data is collected in our Data Collection and Scraping Disclosure.
